We will begin with a yoga sequence that is intended to create a feeling of calm and stability. The physical practice will be followed by a 15 minute yoga nidra session. Also called "psychic sleep," yoga nidra is a state between sleeping and waking. The body is completely relaxed by listening to a set of instructions; much like a guided meditation. Since yoga nidra is done by laying down on the mat, you may want to bring a light blanket along with your yoga mat.
